Adventistische Schriften über: "Is the “faith in Jesus” in Revelation 14:12 an unshakable faith in the new covenant that is based on Christ’s sacrifice and intercession and thereby means the complete restoration of the image of God?"
Answer
The Scriptures confirm that the “faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12) is that victorious faith which Christ Himself lived and which is given to believers so that they may keep God’s commandments and stand unshakably on His Word. This trust rests entirely on Christ’s sacrifice and His continual intercession before the Father, whereby man is preserved from the fall and justified. Through this living faith and union with Christ, heaven works to restore the moral image of God in humanity that was lost through the fall.
Jesus’ Faith in the Third Angel’s Message
»And this faith of Jesus, through which He hoped in God on behalf of the lost and trusted God for the redemption from sin and the power to be preserved from sinning – this victory of His is what has brought divine faith to every person on the world, through which each person can hope in God, trust God, and find God’s power to deliver them from sin and keep them from sinning. That faith which He exercised and through which He attained victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil – this faith is His free gift to every lost person on the earth. [...] This is the faith of Jesus that now, in this time of the third angel’s message, must be received and preserved by those who are rescued and enabled, before the worship of the “beast and its image,” to keep God’s commandments. This is the faith of Jesus referred to in the closing words of the third angel’s message: “Here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.”«
Preserved through Christ’s Sacrifice and Constant Intercession
»Everyone who renounces the slavery and service of Satan and places themselves under the blood‑stained banner of the Prince Immanuel will be preserved through Christ’s intercession. Christ, as our mediator at the right hand of the Father, constantly watches over us; for it is as necessary that He preserves us through His intercession as He has redeemed us with His blood. [...] In the ministry of the Jewish priesthood we are constantly reminded of Christ’s sacrifice and intercession. All who come to Christ today should consider that His merits are like incense, joining with the prayers of those who repent of their sins and receive forgiveness, grace, and mercy. Our need for Christ’s intercession is continual.«
The Restoration of the Moral Image of God
»The whole heaven has an interest in the restoration of the moral image of God in humanity. All of heaven works toward this goal. God and the holy angels have the sincere desire that human beings attain the standard of perfection for which Christ died. [...] God calls us to make our choice on the right side, to unite with the heavenly forces, and to adopt principles that have a life‑giving, restorative influence that restores the moral image lost through disobedience within us. When we, by faith, adopt the principles that characterize the life of Christ, they become in the soul like a spring of water that flows into eternal life.«
Unshakable Faithfulness to God’s Covenant in the End Times
»Not everyone in this world has taken the side of the enemy against God. Not everyone has become faithless. There is a faithful group that remains loyal to God; for John writes: “Here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.” Soon the battle will blaze fiercely between those who serve God and those who do not serve Him. Soon everything that can be shaken will be shaken, so that that which cannot be shaken may remain. [...] They must take their stand on the living Word: “It is written.” This is the only foundation on which they can stand securely. Those who have broken their covenant with God will, on that day, be without God and without hope.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
