Answer
God, through the work of the Holy Spirit and human helpers, will also move rich and influential people to repentance. Although it is difficult for the rich to enter the kingdom of God, with God all things are possible, and many will, at the sight of Jesus' self‑sacrifice, recognize their own spiritual lack. The converted will then use their financial resources and influence to spread the gospel and support God's work worldwide.
God's Power to Convert the Wealthy
Wonders occur in genuine conversion, wonders that are not yet recognized. The greatest men of the earth are not outside the power of a miracle‑working God. ... Through the power of the Holy Spirit many will accept the divine principles. When the self‑sufficient rich man sees Jesus in His love, in His self‑denial and His self‑sacrifice, he will, in contrast, recognize himself as wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked... and will prefer Christ and grasp eternal life.
Christ said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. But with God all things are possible. He can and will, through human instruments, influence the spirit of rich men whose lives were devoted to earning money.
There are many wealthy men who are receptive to the influences and impressions of the gospel message and who, when the Bible and the Bible alone is presented to them as the interpreter of the Christian faith and conduct, are moved by the Spirit of God to open doors for the advancement of the gospel.
God, in His providence, has moved the hearts of some rich people and turned them to the truth, so that they may help keep His work in motion with their possessions. And if those who are wealthy do not do this... He will pass over them and appoint others in their place.
God converts strong men with wealth and brings them into the ranks. If they thrive in the Christian life, grow in grace and ultimately wish to reap a rich reward, they will have to use their abundance to advance the cause of truth.
The Lord desires that wealthy men be converted and act as His helping hand to reach others. He wishes that those who can aid the work of reform and restoration see the precious light of truth and be transformed in their character.
