What does EGW write about...
Ellen Gould White über: "Will children of unbelievers who died before birth be resurrected?"
Answer
Regarding the children of unbelieving parents there is no definitive biblical or prophetic determination; we must place their fate trustingly in God's hands. However, it is certain that Christ's work of reconciliation is comprehensive enough to cover the whole world and be accessible to every soul. While the children of believers are carried by angels into the arms of their mothers at the resurrection, the handling of the children of unbelievers remains a mystery of divine judgment.
Trust in God and Christ's Reconciliation
The question is posed: "What about the children of unbelieving parents?" I answer: We cannot say. We must leave them in God's hands. But one thing we do know is that Christ's reconciliation is comprehensive enough to cover the whole world. It applies to every soul. We must leave the case of such people in God's hands.
The Resurrection of Little Children
The living righteous will be transformed "in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye." At the voice of God they were glorified; now they are made immortal and will be caught up with the resurrected saints to meet their Lord in the air. Angels "gather the elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." Little children are carried by holy angels into the arms of their mothers.
The Hope of a Reunion
Then I saw how the Lord looked upon you lovingly. I saw the Giver of Life come and your wife and your children rise from their graves, clothed in immortal splendor. Look at the things that are invisible. Your dead will live again where there will be no more death.
