Ellen White speaks about this particularly clearly in Education (Ed 307.6 and Ed 309.1). She describes eternity as a time of learning, service, and working with Christ; the redeemed will also praise God and understand His love more and more deeply.
Exploring and working with Christ
»All the treasures of the universe will be open to the study of God’s children. With unutterable delight we shall enter into the joy and wisdom of unfallen beings. We shall share the treasures won through ages upon ages spent in contemplation of God’s handiwork. […] The life on earth is the beginning of the life in heaven; […] the work on earth is the training for the work in heaven. […] Christ’s work on earth is His work in heaven, and our reward for working with Him in this world will be greater power and wider privilege to work with Him in the world to come.
