Adventistische Schriften über: "When will the Feast of Tabernacles be fulfilled?"
Answer
The Feast of Tabernacles will be fulfilled after the conclusion of the investigative judgment and Christ's departure from the heavenly sanctuary. It symbolizes the final completion of the plan of salvation, when all the redeemed are safely gathered in the heavenly Canaan and God's work of reconciliation is fully completed. At that time, believers will dwell in the “Camp of the Saints” and rejoice over the deliverance from the curse of sin.
The Final Fulfillment of the Feast of Tabernacles
The Feast of Tabernacles followed the Day of Atonement, which finds its antitype in the judgment; therefore it must typify an event that occurs after the end of the judgment. When Christ leaves the heavenly sanctuary, it will only be a short time before He comes to earth to gather His people. Then He will take them into heaven, where they will see the glory that He had with the Father before the world existed.
Joy over the Final Salvation
The Feast of Tabernacles was the last of the Jewish festivals... It probably typifies the great jubilation after the final gathering of the whole people of God into His kingdom.
Completion of the Plan of Salvation
The Feast of Tabernacles was the last festival in the annual cycle of service and typified the final completion of the entire plan of salvation. It began on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when the whole harvest from the fields, vineyards, and olive groves had been brought in.
Entering the Heavenly Canaan
But when the Lord's redeemed are safely brought into the heavenly Canaan, forever freed from the bondage of the curse... they will rejoice with unspeakable and glorious joy. Christ's great work of reconciliation for humanity will then be completed, and their sins will be forever eradicated.
Comparison of Type and Antitype
