»The time is not far off when we, like the early disciples, will be forced to seek refuge in desolate and lonely places. Just as the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies was a signal to flee for the Christians in Judea, so the takeover of power by our nation through the decree that enforces the papal Sabbath will be a warning for us. Then it will be time to leave the great cities, preparing also to abandon the smaller towns for a withdrawn home in remote mountain areas.«
