Ellen Gould White
What does Ellen White write about...
Ellen Gould White über: "What is written about the examination in the biblical context?"
Answer
The time of the examination is described as a severe trial, in which Satan seeks to deceive through seductive miracles and the congregation appears close to falling, yet it remains. During this process the sinners are sifted out and the chaff is separated from the wheat. Only those who have been overcome by the blood of the Lamb and have cleansed their souls in obedience to the truth are found faithful and spotless.
The severe trial of the examination time
»Examination of the time of testing – Satan will work his miracles to deceive; he will set his power as the highest. The congregation may seem as if it stands on the brink of collapse, but it does not fall. It remains while the sinners in Zion are sifted out – the chaff separated from the precious wheat. This is a dreadful trial, but it must nevertheless take place. No one except those who have been overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony will be found among the loyal and faithful, without stain or blemish of sin, without falsehood in their mouth... The others, who cleanse their souls through obedience to the truth, draw strength from this testing process and reveal the beauty of holiness amid the surrounding decay.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
