Adventistische Schriften über: "What does Ellen White say about the question that many Bible verses say that God heals all diseases? Why then are not all who ask God healed?"
Answer
Ellen White explains that prayers for healing must always be made under the condition of God's wisdom and will, because only He sees the hidden and the future. God does not always answer prayers with immediate recovery when He recognizes that a life in health would not bring Him honor or when people consciously disregard the health laws. Moreover, illness sometimes serves to cleanse character through trials or to protect believers from forthcoming severe tribulations.
God's Wisdom and Subordination to His Will
I was shown that in the case of illness ... the case should be entrusted to the Lord in calm faith, not with a storm of excitement. He alone is familiar with the past life of the individual and knows what his future will be like. He ... knows whether the person, if healed, would glorify His name or would dishonor Him through relapse and apostasy. ... To ask God to raise the sick, when it aligns with His will, is all that is required of us.
The Importance of Obedience to Health Laws
I also saw that the reason why God did not fully answer the prayers of His servants for the sick among us was that He could not be glorified in it while they violated the health laws. ... Faith and good works should go hand in hand to help the suffering among us.
Preservation from Future Trials
He knows whether those for whom intercessions are made would be able to endure the trial and test that would come upon them if they lived. He knows the end from the beginning. Many will be laid to rest before the fiery trial of the time of tribulation comes over our world.
Healing is Not Always for the Best of Character
We have seen how some of these, especially youths, were raised to health, and they forgot God, became extravagant in life ... They did not live to honor and glorify God, but to curse Him with their lives full of vices.
The Necessity of Self-Examination
If we harbor injustice in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us. He can do with His own what He wills. He will glorify Himself by working in and through those who follow Him completely.
