What does Ellen White write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "What does Ellen White say about 1 Corinthians 5 regarding the condition of the church at that time?"
Answer
Cleansing the Church of Sin
»Sin and sinners in the church must be dealt with promptly so that others are not infected. Truth and purity require that we work more thoroughly to cleanse the camp of the accusers. Those in responsible positions must not tolerate sin in a brother. Show him that he must either lay down his sins or be separated from the church.«
Early Church vs. Decline of Purity
»In the early church, Christianity was taught in its purity; its regulations were given by the voice of inspiration; its ordinances were untainted by human machinations. The church revealed the spirit of Christ and appeared beautiful in its simplicity. Its adornment was the holy principles and the exemplary lives of its members. ... But the church has become corrupt.«
Responsibility of the Church in Separation
»If he refuses to listen to the voice of the church, if he rejects all efforts at restoration, the responsibility lies with the church to exclude him from the fellowship. His name should then be struck from the records. If this instruction has been followed, the church has cleansed itself before God. Evil must then appear as it is and must be removed so that it does not continue to spread.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
