What does Ellen White write about...
Ellen Gould White über: "What does Ellen G. White write about the special resurrection of the 144,000 who died in faith in the third angel's message?"
Answer
Ellen G. White describes a special resurrection in which all who have died in faith in the third angel's message will come gloriously out of their graves. These resurrected ones join the living saints, the 144,000, to hear God's covenant of peace and together meet Christ at His coming. At that moment the living saints are transformed and, together with the resurrected, are taken up to meet the Lord in the air.
The Resurrection of the Believers of the Third Angel's Message
»All who have died in faith in the message of the third angel come gloriously out of the grave to hear God's covenant of peace with those who have kept His law. Also “those who have pierced Him,” those who have mocked and ridiculed Christ’s struggle with death, and the fiercest opponents of His truth and His people, are raised to see Him in His glory and to behold the honor that is bestowed upon the faithful and obedient.«
The Union of the 144,000 with the Resurrected
»Then Jesus’ silver trumpet sounded as He descended on the cloud, wrapped in flames of fire. He looked upon the graves of the sleeping saints, then lifted His eyes and hands to heaven and cried: “Awake! Awake! Awake! you who sleep in the dust, and arise.” Then a mighty earthquake occurred. The graves opened, and the dead came out, clothed with immortality. The 144,000 shouted “Hallelujah!” as they recognized their friends who had been taken from them by death, and at the same moment we were transformed and, together with them, taken up to meet the Lord in the air.«
