What does Ellen White write about...

Adventistische Schriften über: "What does divine inspiration mean?"

Answer

Divine inspiration refers to the influence of the Holy Spirit on the minds of the sacred writers, through which religious truths or future events are communicated and they are protected from error in conveying these truths, whether orally or in writing. The prophets were aware of the Spirit's influence and were confident in the divine revelation, although the inner process was beyond their understanding. The Word of God thus unites the divine and the human, resulting in a harmonious and inseparable interplay between divine and human thought and expression.

What divine inspiration means

»Divine inspiration in the theological sense means the influence of the Holy Spirit on the minds of the sacred writers, through which God communicates knowledge of religious truths or future events and preserves them from making errors when conveying these truths to others, whether orally or in writing.«

Why I built EGW Vision

Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.

EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.

My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
