Answer
No one should think that they can separate themselves from their fellow believers and reach heaven alone, for God prepares a united people for salvation. Moreover, in heaven there will be indescribable joy when the redeemed meet and thank those who selflessly worked for their salvation and brought them the Gospel. True Christian service is characterized by dedicating one's own life to the salvation of others, to reach the eternal home together with them.
No one can go to heaven alone
»One or two must not think that they are fine if they distance themselves from their brothers and sisters and believe they could go to heaven alone. God leads a people out. He cleanses and prepares a people for the rapture. This people must be one; their faith and their interest must be one. I saw that all who profess the truth should unite, to act as a congregation and be a strength and help to one another.«
The joy over those gathered together in heaven
»Others will express their gratitude to those who fed the hungry and clothed the naked. “When despair held my soul captive in unbelief, the Lord sent you to me,” they say, “to speak words of hope and comfort. [...] I am here, saved, eternally saved, to forever live in His presence and to praise Him who gave His life for me.” What joy will prevail when these redeemed meet and greet those who have borne a burden for them! And those who have not lived to please themselves, but to be a blessing to the unfortunate, who have so few blessings—how their hearts will tremble with satisfaction!«
Commitment to the salvation of fellow humans
»My brothers and sisters, it is too late to devote your time and strength to selfishness. Do not allow the last day to find you without the heavenly treasure. Strive to advance the victories of the cross, to enlighten souls and work for the salvation of your fellow humans, so that your work withstands the trial by fire. Every true, sacrificial servant of God is ready to commit himself for others and to be consumed. [...] He may lose his life in service; but when Christ comes to gather His little ones, He will find him again.«

Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
