Ellen Gould White
What does Ellen White write about...
Ellen Gould White über: "Was man specifically created to be steadfast in the face of the world's hardships, or were all creatures formed similarly to man?"
Answer
The provided quotations show that man was created as a superior being, unique in the image of God, and not equal to the other creatures. Among all creatures there was none that was like man. At the same time, man was given great vital power to overcome resistance and to surmount obstacles.
Man as a Superior Creature
»God created man as a superior being; he alone is formed in the image of God and is capable of sharing in the divine nature, cooperating with his Creator, and carrying out his plans.«
No Creature Equal to Man
»Among all the creatures that God had made on earth, none was equal to man. [...] There was none of the same nature to love and be loved.«
Vital Power to Overcome Resistance
»God equipped man with such great vital power that he has withstood the accumulation of diseases that have come over the race as a result of improper habits.«
Overcoming Obstacles with Divine Help
»He is to overcome obstacles and create order and harmony out of chaos. In this work he can have divine help if he claims it. He is not left alone to fight temptations and trials by his own strength.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
