The United States is described in biblical prophecy as the power that establishes a “image of the beast” by enforcing religious customs through state laws. This process begins when Protestant churches, through the state, enforce Sunday sanctification, which corresponds to the principles of the papacy and acknowledges its authority. In this development, the USA will abandon its constitutional principles of religious freedom and, together with the papacy, exert pressure on people’s conscience.

The connection between the USA and the papacy
