In the theological consideration of Job 29, Job is presented as a model for self‑less action and social justice. He actively sought the needs of those he did not know, and acted as a “father to the poor,” which serves as an example for all believers. His righteousness and compassion brought him not only divine blessing, but also made him a support for the weak, the blind, and the mournful.
