Adventistische Schriften über: "The personal faith that Jesus himself practiced"
Answer
Jesus Christ lived in complete dependence on God and maintained a constant fellowship through prayer, which was the source of His spiritual power. His personal faith was characterized by the fact that He, in His humanity, fully relied on the Father and said, “I will place my trust in Him.” This divine faith that Jesus himself practiced is given to believers as a gift of God, so that they may achieve the same victory over sin.
The Faith of Jesus as a Divine Gift
»This is the faith of the Lord Jesus. — This is the saving faith. Faith is not something that comes from ourselves, with which we believe in Him; rather it is the something with which He believed — the faith that He exercised, that He brings to us and that becomes ours and works in us — the gift of God. That is what the word means: “Here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” They keep the faith of Jesus because it is that divine faith which Jesus Himself exercised. Since He became us, He brought us that divine faith that saves the soul — that divine faith through which we can say with Him: “I will place my trust in Him.”«
A Life in Constant Dependence and Fellowship
»Jesus lived in dependence on God and in fellowship with Him. In the hidden place of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty, people go from time to time; they linger for a while, and the result is shown in noble deeds; then their faith fails, the fellowship is broken and the life's work is impaired. But the life of Jesus was a life of constant trust, sustained by continual fellowship; and His service for heaven and earth proceeded without failure or hesitation. As a human He prayed at the throne of God until His humanity was charged with a heavenly stream that united humanity with divinity.«
Obedience to the Commandments
»Will the Son of God sanctify the transgressor of the Father's law – that law which Christ came to uplift and honor? He testifies: “I have kept my Father's commandments.”«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
