What does Ellen White write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "The idea that if one loves God but not people because people are not as loving as God, how is it explained that one does not love God if one does not love bad people?"
Answer
Love for God and Love for People Are Inseparable
»If we love God with all our heart, we must also love His children. This love is the spirit of God. It is the heavenly adornment that gives true nobility and dignity to the soul and makes our lives equal to the Master.«
»Love is from God. You have not the love that dwelt in the bosom of Christ. The untried soul cannot produce or bring forth this plant of heaven, which, in order to thrive, must be constantly moistened with the dew of heaven. It can only grow in the heart where Christ reigns.«
»Christ taught that rank or wealth makes no difference in our relationship to one another and that we are all brothers in the light of heaven. To possess true godliness means to love one of the others, to help one another, to make the religion of Jesus visible in our lives.«
The quotes show that Ellen G. White regarded love for God and love for people as inseparable. If someone does not love people – especially those who are difficult to love – according to these texts, this would be a sign that love for God in his heart is not complete. Love for God manifests itself immediately in love for people, also for those who appear unlovable.

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
