What does Ellen White write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "Should we no longer base our faith on miracles in the last days?"
Answer
In the last days both true and false signs and wonders will occur. To avoid being deceived by false wonders, our faith should not be based on visible miracles but on the firm trust in Jesus and His Word.
False prophets show signs and wonders to deceive
»And since the last days will be more dangerous than anything previously foreseen, and false prophets will have power to show great signs and wonders, so that if possible they will even deceive the elect.«
Faith is not based on sight but on looking to Jesus
»I see with pain how little faith there is among those who call themselves children of God. Almost all carry a heavy burden of unbelief. This darkens their Christian experience. They only believe what they can see. They walk by sight, not by faith. Our only hope is to look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
