What does Ellen White write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "Short quotes about the benefits and spiritual value of thank offerings to the Lord."
Answer
These quotes present thank offerings as an expression of gratitude, love, and obedient trust in God. Their spiritual value does not depend on the size of the gift, but on the attitude of the heart; God accepts them and connects them with his blessing.
Thank offerings as an expression of gratitude
»The Lord never requires His people to give more than they are able; but He gladly accepts and blesses thank offerings given according to one’s means.«
The attitude of the heart matters
»It is not the size of the gift that makes the sacrifice acceptable to God, but the purpose of the heart, the spirit of gratitude and love it expresses.«
Gifts as a response to God’s goodness
»When special protection is given to us or new and unexpected favor is shown us, we should acknowledge God’s goodness not only with words of gratitude, but, like Jacob, also with gifts and offerings for His work.«
Thank offerings bring spiritual blessings
»They should also bring a generous contribution to the Lord’s treasury as a thank offering. With joyful hearts, they should dedicate the firstfruits of their gifts to the Creator. In this way, they will receive rich blessings.«
A sign of obedience and gratitude
»He accepts these offerings as an act of humble obedience and as a grateful acknowledgment that we are indebted to Him for all the blessings we enjoy.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
