Regarding such mysteries that are too deep for human understanding, silence is golden.
It is not essential for us to be able to define exactly what the Holy Spirit is. Christ tells us that the Spirit is the Comforter, “the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father.” Regarding the Holy Spirit, it is clearly explained that He, in His work of guiding people into all truth, “will not speak on His own authority.”
No human mind can comprehend God. The finite person should not attempt to interpret Him. No one should indulge in speculation about His nature. Here, silence is eloquence. The All-Knowing stands above any discussion.
