Look upward! Our citizenship is in heaven. See what love the Father has shown us, that we may be called children of God. As “heirs of immortal divine crowns,” it is fitting that we sing with joy. The truest honor and the highest privileges that can accompany this mortal condition have been bestowed upon us.
We have no home here. We are only pilgrims and strangers on the way to a better land, even a heavenly one... May God help us obtain the gift of eternal life.
So you are no longer strangers and non‑citizens, but fellow citizens of the saints and co‑inhabitants of God's house; built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ as the cornerstone.
