God has provided that truth continually unfolds to His people, for He is infinite and the treasures of His wisdom can never be exhausted. Progress is the law of heaven, therefore believers must not remain in the light of past generations, but should constantly move forward through the illumination of the Holy Spirit. Whoever clings to old errors and does not walk with the increasing light loses connection with divine guidance and stagnates in his spiritual development.
The Inexhaustibility of Divine Truth
»If created beings could attain a complete understanding of God and His works, then after reaching that point there would be no further discovery of truth for them, no growth in knowledge, and no further development of spirit or heart. ... God is infinite; in Him are “all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” And for all eternity people can continue to search and learn, yet they can never exhaust the treasures of His wisdom, His goodness, and His power.«
The Law of Progress
