Adventistische Schriften über: "Positive, encouraging message about the picture concerning God's commandments, the faith of Jesus, Sabbath fidelity, religious freedom, courage in persecution, and Christ's ultimate victory"

Answer

God's people are called to remain steadfast in the faith of Jesus and in unwavering loyalty to His commandments—including the holy Sabbath—even when distress and persecution threaten. Amid the gravest trials, God defends the principles of conscience and religious freedom and strengthens His faithful witnesses with divine power. In the end, the message of truth will triumph over every earthly obstacle, and Christ will lead His redeemed people into the eternal, glorious victory.

God's Triumph through Faithfulness and Proclamation of Religious Freedom

»God had triumphed through the steadfastness of His faithful servants. The splendid picture was forgotten by the people in their amazement, and festivity filled the assembly. What the Jewish nation as a people had failed to do—proclaim the truth to the nations of the world—God accomplished under the most difficult circumstances with only three men. The story of the marvelous deliverance was told to the ends of the earth. The principles of religious freedom and conscience freedom were made known. [...] The Sabbath was proclaimed. [...] When the three Hebrews were rescued from the furnace’s heat, the principles of God’s dominion—the true Protestantism, as it would be called today—were proclaimed before the peoples of the earth.«

God's Commandments, the Faith of Jesus, and the Light of the Sabbath

»The passage of time in the year 1844 was a period of great events that, before our astonished eyes, opened the cleansing of the sanctuary in heaven, which stands in decisive relation to God’s people on earth, [as well] the messages of the first and second angels and the third, which unfurled the banner on which was written: “The commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.” One of the signposts among this message was the temple of God, which was seen by His truth‑loving people in heaven, and the Ark of the Covenant, which contains the law of God. The light of the Sabbath of the fourth commandment sent its strong rays upon the path of those who transgress the law of God.«

Steadfastness in Persecution and Faithfulness to the Sabbath

»The time will come when God’s people will feel the hand of persecution because they keep the seventh day holy. Satan has effected the change of the Sabbath in hopes of carrying out his intention to thwart God’s plans. He tries to give God’s commandments less authority in the world than human laws. [...] But God’s people should stand firmly with Him. And the Lord will work to their advantage and clearly show that He is the God of gods. [...] Yet the people of God should not hide their banner. They should not disregard God’s commandments and, to make it easy, go with the crowd to do evil.«

The Unstoppable Triumph of Truth and Christ’s Final Victory

»If they remain faithful to their loyalty, if they honor the Lord, the God of Israel, there is no power that can stand against them. [...] Truth will triumph over those who despise and reject it. Although its progress may seem delayed at times, it has never been halted. When God’s message meets resistance, He grants it additional strength so that it can exert greater influence. Equipped with divine power, it will forge its way through the strongest barriers and triumph over every obstacle. What strengthened the Son of God during His life of toil and sacrifice? He saw the result of the labor of His soul and was satisfied. Looking into eternity, He saw the happiness of those who, through His humility, had received forgiveness and eternal life. His ear heard the jubilation of the redeemed. He heard the liberated sing the song of Moses and the Lamb.«

Courage and Unshakable Confidence in the Face of Martyrdom

»The few Christians who accompanied him to the place of execution, he endeavored to strengthen and encourage them by repeating the promises given to those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake. He assured them that nothing would fail of all that the Lord has spoken concerning His tested and faithful children. [...] Soon the night of trial and suffering would end, and then the joyful morning of peace and the perfect day would break. The apostle looked into the great beyond, not with uncertainty or fear, but with joyful hope and eager expectation. [...] From the rack, the pyre, the prison, from caves and fissures of the earth, the victorious cry of the martyrs reaches his ear. He hears the testimony of steadfast souls who [...] fearlessly and solemnly bear witness to the faith and declare: “I know whom I believe.”«

Why I built EGW Vision

Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.

EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.

My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
