What does Ellen White write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "Please give me a biblical verse that urges us to trust the Lord, as emphasized in Adventist faith."
Answer
In the writings of Seventh-day Adventists, the biblical counsel from Proverbs is especially emphasized: to trust God with all your heart and not rely on your own understanding. Such unfettered trust prevents disappointment and secures divine guidance for both present and eternal life.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
»Every young person should practice, in a practical sense, trusting the Lord and not following their own ways. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not rely on your own understanding; acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and turn away from evil... Blessed is the person who finds wisdom, and the one who gains insight...’’«
Security through trusting God
»He noted that it is better to trust in the Lord than to rely on people. Yes, it is better to trust in the Lord than to place confidence in princes... If in these days of danger you lean on your own understanding, nothing but disappointment and sorrow will accompany your steps. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and all will be secure for this life and the life to come.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
