The Holy Spirit is described as one of the three living persons of the heavenly trio, who works in the full fullness of the deity. He is Christ’s representative on earth, who, independent of human limitations, can be present everywhere simultaneously to explore hearts and lead people into truth. As a “heavenly guest,” He wishes to dwell in every soul to refine character and to stand with believers as Comforter, Counselor, and Saint.

The Comforter, whom Christ promised to send after His ascension, is the Spirit in the full fullness of the deity, who reveals the power of divine grace to all who accept Christ as personal Savior and believe in Him. There are three living persons of the heavenly trio; in the name of these three great powers—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—those who accept Christ through living faith are baptized, and these powers will work together with obedience.
Christ’s Representative without Human Limitation
The Holy Spirit is Christ’s representative, but without the personality of humanity and independent of it. Burdened with humanity, Christ could not be personally present everywhere.
