Adventistische Schriften über: "Overcoming and Perfection"

Answer

According to Adventist teaching, the overcoming of sin and the perfection of character is a lifelong process of devotion to Christ. Through His imputed righteousness and the cooperation of the believer, believers are gradually transformed into His image. This requires constant overcoming of the world, the flesh, and the devil, as well as the cultivation of righteous habits in daily faith.

»It is by overcoming the world, the flesh, and the devil that every student comes into possession of the knowledge that grants him access to the Tree of Life. We must all learn how Christ overcame in our behalf. Through His imputed righteousness, He would place every human being at a vantage point. He will provide every facility so that man may fully develop a perfect character in every respect.«

Why I built EGW Vision

Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.

EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.

My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
