God is a God of order and requires of His followers that all worship actions be carried out with holy reverence and discipline. In worship, secular conversation, laughter, or disorder should be avoided, as these dishonor the presence of God. Both preachers and congregation members are called to prepare for the holy encounter with the Creator through silent prayers and a dignified demeanor.
Holy Reverence in the House of God
»When worshippers enter the meeting place, they should do so with propriety and walk quietly to their seats. Ordinary talking, whispering, and laughing should not be permitted in the house of worship either before or after the service. Burning, active piety should characterize the worshippers.«
»The God of heaven is a God of order, and He requires all His followers to have rules and regulations and to maintain order. All should have a complete understanding of God's work.«
