Adventistische Schriften über: "Observing animals"

Answer

Observing animals serves as a valuable lesson to better understand God's care and character. We should view animals as our teachers, with ants teaching us diligence and perseverance, while birds demonstrate trust in divine provision. Children should be encouraged to study these natural role models to recognize God's voice and His truths in creation.

Animals as Teachers of Creation

We should not merely tell the child about these creatures of God. The animals themselves should be his teachers. The ants teach lessons of patient diligence, of perseverance in overcoming obstacles, and of foresight for the future. And the birds are teachers of the sweet lesson of trust. Our heavenly Father provides for them; but they must gather food, they must build their nests, and raise their young.
‘Ask the cattle, they will teach you, and the birds under the heavens will tell you: ... and the fish in the sea will explain it to you.’ ‘Go to the ant; ... observe its ways.’
The great Teacher here directs the mind to understand the parental care and love that God has for His children. He instructs them to observe the birds as they flutter from tree to tree or glide over the lake, without a tremor of distrust or fear. God's eye rests upon these little creatures; He provides them with food; He meets all their simple needs.
The dwellings that the ants build for themselves testify to skill and endurance. They can only ever carry a tiny grain at a time, but through diligence and perseverance they accomplish wonders.
Children should be encouraged to look in nature for objects that illustrate biblical teachings, and to follow the parables from nature in the Bible. ... They may learn to hear His voice in the song of the birds, in the rustling of the trees, in the rolling thunder, and in the music of the sea.
All creatures of the forests and hills are part of His great household. He opens His hand and satisfies “the desire of all living things.”
