Mission work on the Sabbath includes especially the ministry of mercy and soul winning. Following the example of Christ, it is permissible on the Sabbath to alleviate suffering through medical mission work, while ordinary and postponable activities should rest in order to preserve the holiness of the day. In addition, the Sabbath school constitutes a fruitful mission field to lead people to Christ and equip them for His service.
