What does Ellen White write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "How does the new birth happen?"
Answer
The new birth occurs through the invisible work of the Holy Spirit, who impresses divine truths from the Word of God into the human heart. When a person, in faith, responds to this work and entrusts his entire life to Christ, God grants a new spiritual life. Consequently, thinking, willing, and acting are renewed, and the person is reshaped in the image of God.
The New Birth Through the Word of God and the Spirit
»This new birth is the result of receiving Christ as the Word of God. When divine truths are impressed upon the heart by the Holy Spirit, new ideas arise, and the previously dormant powers are awakened to cooperate with God.«
The Work of the Spirit and the Creation of a New Being
»With a power as invisible as the wind, Christ works constantly at the heart. Gradually, perhaps unconsciously to the recipient, impressions arise that draw the soul toward Christ... Blessing comes when the soul yields to God through faith. Then that power, which no human eye can see, creates a new being in the image of God.«
New Life Through Trust in God's Promises
»Through this simple act of faith in God, the Holy Spirit has begotten a new life in your heart. You are like a child born into God's family, and He loves you as He loves His Son.«
Renewal of Thoughts and the Inner Person
»The Spirit of God brings forth a new life in the soul and brings thoughts and desires into obedience to the will of Christ; and the inner person is renewed in the image of God.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
