Adventistische Schriften über: "God's Love – Quotes from Ellen White on God's Love"
Answer
God's nature and His law are pure love, which is manifested both in creation and in redemption. The dedication of Jesus Christ on the cross is not the cause of God's love, but its highest expression and proof of an already existing, infinite affection for humanity. Even in a fallen world, nature and God's care testify to His tireless goodness and His desire to save humanity.
God's Nature and Creation as an Expression of Love
»‘God is love.’ His nature, His law is love. So it has always been; so it will always be. Every revelation of creative power is an expression of infinite love. ... Every good thing we have, every ray of sunshine and rain shower, every bite of food, every moment of life is a gift of love.«
The Cross as a Manifestation of an Existing Love
»We should not cling to the notion that God loves us because Christ died for us, but that He loved us so much that He gave His only‑begotten Son to die for us. ... When the Redeemer is exalted before people, they will ... recognize that Christ's work of reconciliation was not the cause of God's love, but the result of that love. Jesus died because God loved the world.«
God's Love in Nature and in Suffering
»Both nature and revelation testify to God's love. Our Father in Heaven is the source of life, wisdom, and joy. Look at the wonderful and beautiful things of nature. ... Even in the midst of suffering that results from sin, God's love is revealed. ... In nature itself there are messages of hope and comfort. There are flowers on the thistles and the thorns are covered with roses.«
The Depth of Divine Affection
»God's love is so deep, so full, that it could only be expressed by Him, of His own will, giving His own beloved Son to poverty, shame, humiliation, mockery, and death. He was the most precious sacrifice that could be given to the world, and in Him the whole heaven was given.«
Grace for the Unworthy
»Grace is an attribute of God that is shown to unworthy people. We did not seek it, but it was sent out to seek us. God delights in giving this grace to anyone who hungers for it. He sets conditions of mercy before each person, not because we are worthy, but because we are wholly unworthy.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
