Adventistische Schriften über: "God's Love for Humanity"

Answer

God's love for humanity is a living reality, so deep and vast that it surpasses human understanding and even leaves angels in awe. This love was most fully revealed on the cross of Golgotha, where the Father gave His beloved Son for a fallen world, pouring out the entire heavens in a single gift. Since we do not truly deserve this mercy, God shows us a love that is stronger than death and more steadfast than a mother's affection for her child.

The Unfathomable Depth of Divine Love

It seems almost too good to be true that the Father can love each member of the human family as He loves His Son. Yet we have the certainty that He does, and this certainty should fill every heart with joy, awaken the highest reverence, and evoke unspeakable gratitude. God's love is not uncertain or unreal, but a living reality.
The more we study the divine character in the light of the cross, the more we see grace, tenderness, and forgiveness mingled with justice and mercy, and the clearer we recognize countless evidence of a love that is infinite, and a delicate compassion that surpasses a mother's yearning compassion for her wayward child.
God's heart longs for His earthly children with a love that is stronger than death. By giving His Son, He poured the entire heavens into a gift for us. The life, death, and intercession of the Savior, the ministry of angels, the pleading of the Spirit, the Father who works over and through all, the ceaseless interest of heavenly beings— all of these work for the redemption of humanity.
Christ's love for His children is both strong and tender. It is a love that is stronger than death, for He died for us. It is a love that is truer than a mother's love for her children. A mother's love may change, but Christ's love is unchanging.
God's love for the fallen race is a special manifestation of love—a love born out of mercy; for all human beings are unworthy. Mercy presupposes the imperfection of the object toward which it is shown. Because of sin, mercy was put into active practice.
