Ellen Gould White
What does Ellen White write about...
Ellen Gould White über: "From what did God make Adam and Eve's first clothing?"
Answer
After their fall and disobedience, Adam and Eve had to leave the Garden of Eden. As the atmosphere changed and was no longer uniformly mild, God provided them protection from extreme temperatures. He made clothing for them out of animal skins to preserve them from cold and heat.
God's Care through Fur Clothing
»In humility and unspeakable sorrow, Adam and Eve left the lovely garden where they had been so happy, until they became disobedient to God's command. The atmosphere had changed. It was no longer as constant as before the transgression. God clothed them with skirts of skins to protect them from the feeling of cold and then heat to which they were exposed.«
Protection from Temperature Extremes
»The atmosphere, which once was so mild and uniform in temperature, was now subjected to marked changes, and the Lord mercifully provided them with a garment of skins as protection from the extremes of heat and cold.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
