A sudden disaster for the careless

When life goes on in its unchanging routine; when people are engrossed in pleasure, business, trade, and making money; when religious leaders praise progress and enlightenment of the world and the people are lulled into false security – then, as the midnight thief slips into an unwatched house, sudden ruin will come upon the careless and godless, “and they will not escape.”«
