Adventistische Schriften über: "Ellen White quotes on the Trinity"
Answer
Ellen White teaches that there are three living persons of the heavenly Trinity: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three powers work together and reveal the full fullness of deity to those who believe in Christ. In doing so she emphasizes that the Father and the Son are distinct personalities with individual character, yet they form a perfect unity in purpose and spirit.
The heavenly trio and the fullness of deity
The Comforter, whom Christ promised to send after He ascended to heaven, is the Spirit in the full fullness of deity, who reveals the power of divine grace to all who accept Christ as personal Savior and believe in Him. There are three living persons of the heavenly trio; in the name of these three great powers—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—those who receive Christ by living faith are baptized, and these powers will work together with obedience.
This union between the Father and the Son does not break either of them, but strengthens both. Through it we have, in connection with the Holy Spirit, the entire deity. Through it we are enabled to “see Jesus” in all His fullness and glory; for it pleased God that in Him “all fullness should dwell,” yes, “the fullness of deity bodily.”
The Holy Scripture clearly states the relationship between God and Christ, and it likewise brings to light the personality and individuality of each.
Wonderful statement! The unity that exists between Christ and His disciples does not destroy the individuality of each person. They are one in purpose, in thought, in character, but not in person. In this way God and Christ are one.
I saw a throne, and upon it sat the Father and the Son. I looked upon the face of Jesus and admired His lovable person. I could not see the Person of the Father, for a cloud of glorious light covered Him. I asked Jesus whether His Father had a form like Himself. He said He has one, but I cannot see it...
