Adventistische Schriften über: "Ellen White on Louis Conradi"

Answer

Ellen White describes Louis R. Conradi as a dedicated pioneer and fellow worker who played a key role in the spread of the Adventist faith in Europe. He recognized the urgent need to distribute literature in the languages of the respective countries and devoted himself to training colporteurs. During her travels in Germany and other European countries, Conradi served Ellen White as a trusted guide, interpreter, and close companion in ministry. Through his initiative in Basel, young people were trained to bring the message to people by selling books such as The Life of Christ. White commended him as a farsighted leader who made a significant contribution to building the missionary work in Central Europe.

Conradi’s Commitment to Literature Work in Europe

»Elder L. R. Conradi had come from America early in 1886, and after visiting churches in Germany, Russia, and Switzerland, he reported that one of the most urgent needs in Europe was books on present truth, to be carried into people’s homes by consecrated and well-trained colporteurs. He clearly saw that our literature must be used to bring the Advent message to the masses in Europe...«

Cooperation and Service as an Interpreter

»Again in 1887, Mrs. White spent the month of June in Scandinavia. Accompanied by Mrs. Ings, she had attended very interesting meetings with the small groups of Sabbathkeepers in Vohwinkel and Gladbach, Germany. At these meetings Elder L. R. Conradi served as guide, interpreter, and fellow worker.«

Training Young Evangelists

»Beginning in Basel, Elder Conradi gathered a group of six or eight young people around him and began training them for success. He explained that people needed the saving truths found in our books; that Mrs. White had said that with well-trained effort these books could be sold... They studied her book until they were inspired by its great truths, and when they went out under his encouragement and guidance, they were successful.«

Why I built EGW Vision

Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.

EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.

My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
