Wisdom and Responsibility in the End Times
It is truly not wise to have children now. The time is short, the dangers of the last days are upon us, and the little children will largely be swept away from them. If men and women who can work for God would consider that while they themselves enjoy having and caring for small children, they could be working to teach a great number the way of salvation, their reward in the heavenly kingdom would be great.
Marriage and the Approaching Time of Tribulation
In this age of the world, as the scenes of world history are about to close and we are about to enter the time of tribulation, unlike any before, it is for all, both men and women, all the better the fewer marriages are entered into.
Parents' Responsibility Before God
Before they enlarge their family, they should consider whether God would be glorified or dishonored by them bringing children into the world. ... If they have no business they can rely on to support a family, they commit a crime by bringing children into the world who must suffer from lack of proper care, food, and clothing.
Danger of Inadequate Education
If you do not control your children and do not shape their character to meet God's requirements, then it is all the more beneficial for you, for the parents, and for society, the fewer children there are who must suffer under your inadequate training.
