What does Ellen White write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "Ellen White: Great Struggle, Protestant Churches, State Power, Sunday Sanctification, Image of the Beast, Religious Freedom, Chapters 35–36"
Answer
Ellen White warns that religious freedom is in danger when Protestant churches attempt to enforce church institutions and customs such as Sunday sanctification with the aid of state power. While one group receives the mark of the beast, the other receives the seal of God. Predictions that religious intolerance would gain the upper hand and that church and state would persecute those who keep God's commandments were declared baseless and absurd. Yet, as the Sunday celebration is widely promoted, one sees the long‑doubted event drawing near...«
