Ellen Gould White über: "Catholic procession approaches Ellen White's house"
Answer
Ellen White describes in a dream a scene in Battle Creek, in which a group of determined persons marched on her house. This group turned into a Catholic procession, with the leaders carrying a cross and a rod. One of those involved declared the house to be outlawed and ordered the seizure of their property, because they had spoken against their \"holy order\".
Dream of the Catholic procession
In this condition it was decided that we would return to Battle Creek... That night I dreamed that I was in Battle Creek, looked out the side window at the door and saw a group marching two by two toward the house. They looked stern and determined... The scene changed. The group now presented the appearance of a Catholic procession. One carried a cross in his hand, another a rod. And as they came closer, the one who carried the rod drew a circle around the house and said three times: \"This house is outlawed. The goods must be seized. You have spoken against our holy order.\" Terror seized me, and I ran through the house...
Preparation for the coming distress
Mrs. White solemnly admonished the brothers... to prepare in their hearts for terrible scenes of strife and oppression that lie beyond what they have imagined and will soon be observed among the nations of the earth. \"Very soon,\" she declared, \"the strife and oppression of foreign nations will break out with an intensity they do not now anticipate.\
