What does Ellen White write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "Am I forgiven if I have repented several times today after I fell last night? I love Jesus and believe with all my heart."
Answer
Yes, if you truly repent from the heart and come to Jesus, He will surely forgive you. Even when you are overcome and fall, He does not abandon us, but intercedes for us and grants forgiveness and grace. God does not reject anyone who returns to His feet with a sincere heart and confession.
Jesus' Willingness to Forgive in Sincere Repentance
»You may be overcome and sometimes do wrong, but that should not discourage you. Jesus has compassion for us and loves us even when we make mistakes and do injustice. He does not leave us to ruin, but intercedes with His Father on our behalf; and if we are sorry for the wrongdoing we have done, and we ask Jesus to forgive us, He will do so.«
God's Unlimited Mercy Toward the Sinner
»Can you believe that if the poor sinner longs to return, longs to renounce his sins, the Lord strictly prevents him from coming in repentance to His feet? Away with such thoughts! Nothing can harm your own soul more than holding such an idea of our heavenly Father. He hates sin, but He loves the sinner... If you approach Him with confession and repentance, He will meet you with mercy and forgiveness.«
Abundant Forgiveness for All Who Come Sincerely
»Christ is ready to receive all who come to Him with sincerity... The godless may leave his way and the unjust his thoughts; and if they turn to the Lord, He will have mercy on them, to our God, for He will forgive abundantly... Christ has identified with our needs and is able to meet every particular need of our weakness.«
Assurance of Forgiveness for a Contrite Heart
»We may always be humble because of our sinfulness and because we have grieved the Savior, yet be glad that we can believe that Jesus promised to forgive the sins of a repentant heart, and that these sins are to be blotted out of the Book of His memory through Jesus Christ... Let these words be on our lips: "The blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin.«

Why I built EGW Vision
Hello, I am Stephan Krol. I started this Ellen White website to make the writings of Ellen G. White and the Adventist pioneers easier to access for everyone.
EGW Vision helps you find topics, statements, and quotes faster, especially when many original sources are not yet fully available in your language. The tool searches semantically, groups relevant content by topic, and presents matching results as clearly as possible in your language.
My hope is that this tool supports personal Bible study, strengthens trust in the original sources, and helps more people discover the message of these writings with clarity, depth, and joy.
