Ellen Gould White über: "10 Commandments in the Sky at the Second Coming"
Answer
In the events surrounding the Second Coming of Christ, a hand will appear in the sky holding two stone tablets. These tablets reveal the Ten Commandments, written in fiery script so clearly that all the inhabitants of the earth can read them.
This law, once proclaimed at Sinai, serves at this moment as the standard of judgment. While it brings hope to the believers, the visibility of the commandments to those who have ignored them leads to profound horror and despair.
The Revelation of God's Law in the Sky
»Then a hand appears in the sky holding two folded stone tablets. The prophet says: “The heavens will proclaim his righteousness; for God is the judge Himself.” That holy law, God's righteousness, which was proclaimed under thunder and fire from Sinai as a guide for life, is now revealed to humanity as the rule of judgment. The hand opens the tablets, and one sees the provisions of the Decalogue, traced as if with a feather of fire. The words are so clear that everyone can read them. Memory is roused, the darkness of superstition and error is swept from every mind, and God's ten words, brief, comprehensive, and authoritative, are presented to the view of all the earth's inhabitants.«
»God's law will be revealed in its majesty; and those who have stood in defiant rebellion against His holy precepts will understand that the law they have rejected and despised ... is God's standard for character.«
