What does EGW write about...
Adventistische Schriften über: "If only one person had been saved by Jesus, would He have done all that for that one person?"
Answer
Jesus Christ knows each individual soul as if it were the only one for which He gave His life. His compassion and care apply to every individual personally, regardless of the total number of the saved. He cares for each person so intensely as if there were no other human on the whole earth.
Christ’s Love for the Individual
»Jesus knows each soul as if it were the only one for which the Savior died. The sorrow of each touches His heart. The cry for help reaches His ear. He came to draw all people to Himself. He calls them: “Follow me,” and His Spirit works on their hearts to move them to come to Him. Many refuse to be drawn. Jesus knows who they are. He also knows who joyfully hears His call and is ready to step under His shepherd-like care. He says: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” He cares for each individual as if there were no other on the face of the earth.«
