In times of great crises and trials, steadfast faith is essential to resist temptations and experience divine help. When human trust fails and darkness is deepest, the light of a godlike character shines brightest, provided we align our lives to the divine standard. God uses obstacles as a test for our faith, so that it grows through practice and gives us the power to overcome even seemingly insurmountable difficulties.
